Management Accountant

KCR Solutions are delighted to be partnering with a growing local company to recruit a Management Accountant. The successful candidate will have previous experience within a similar role and be a motivated finance professional looking to develop their management accounting and team leadership skills within a fast-paced manufacturing.

Managing a small team, you will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate financial information to the business. You will provide financial insight that supports operational and commercial decision-making.

• Prepare monthly management accounts
\n
• Prepare and post journals including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and stock adjustments
\n
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
\n
• Support monthly reporting of key operational KPIs
\n
• Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
\n
• Analyse financial results and provide commentary on performance
\n
• Support stock valuation and inventory reconciliation processes
\n
• Work closely with operational teams to improve reporting and cost control
\n
• Supervise and support two finance team members
\n
• Assist with workload planning and process improvement initiatives
\n
• Ensure financial controls and company procedures are followed
\n
• Assist with year-end audit preparation and external auditor queries
\n
• Support continuous improvement projects within the finance function
