Production Team Leader – Progression to Production Manager

£35,000, Rising to £40,000

Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm

Are you a skilled Team Leader or Supervisor from a Food Manufacturing background looking for an opportunity to step up into Production Management?

Reed is working exclusively with a growing Food Manufacturer near Bolton as they continue to expand their existing plant to meet increasing demand for their products from within the UK as well as overseas.

In this role you’ll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and managing production staff on site, supporting with mentorship and training, and ensuring strict adherence to Food Safety, Hygiene, Quality and H&S standards.

You’ll be responsible for:

\n
• Working with owners to set and ensure production targets are met
\n
• Carrying out Root Cause Analysis to identify issues and opportunities for Continuous Improvement
\n
• Monitoring usage of materials and waste produced to ensure this is within tolerance
\n
• Overseeing, leading and mentoring production staff to support with performance improvement
\n
• Ensuring Quality, H&S and Food Safety regulations, standards and processes are adhered to
\n

Ideal candidates will have:

\n
• Production experience working in a Food Manufacturing or similar FMCG environment
\n
• 2+ years’ experience in leadership (e.g. as a Team Leader, Supervisor or similar)
\n
• Performance management and staff development experience
\n
• HACCP Level 2 or above
\n
