Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Mechanical Fitter to assist on a short-term project. This position will involve supporting key installation and safety activities, including PVC piping, bolt work, and general compliance with site procedures.

The site is well-connected to public transport and the business will provide full PPE equipment (fireproof suit, safety glasses etc).

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with installation and fitting of PVC piping systems
\n
• Carry out bolt work including assembly, tightening, and securing components
\n
• Support adherence to site safety procedures and standards
\n
• Work closely with engineers and supervisors to complete tasks efficiently
\n
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and to required specifications
\n
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
\n

Requirements

\n
• Previous experience in mechanical fitting, piping, or assembly work
\n
• Familiarity with boltwork and basic installation techniques
\n
• Strong understanding or willingness to follow health & safety procedures
\n
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
\n
