Service Advisor

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Service Advisor at a reputable independent garage in Haslemere, Surrey. • Up to £35,000 per annum dependent on experience

• OTE up to £38,000 with bonuses

• Working Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM

• Saturday rota on a 1 in 2 basis (negotiable)

Duties required of the Service Advisor include:\n

• Greeting customers and establishing their vehicle service needs
\n
• Coordinating with technicians and interpreting customer concerns
\n
• Providing accurate and transparent cost estimates for repairs and servicing
\n
• Managing work orders and service bookings via garage management systems
\n
• Keeping customers informed on vehicle progress and additional work
\n
• Handling customer inquiries and resolving issues professionally
\n
• Upselling relevant services and products
\n
• Ensuring workshop workflow remains efficient while maintaining quality standards
\n

Requirements for the Service Advisor role include:\n

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer-facing automotive position
\n
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
\n
• Organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
\n
• Technical understanding of automotive repairs (preferred but not essential)
\n
• Experience with garage management systems (desirable)
\n
• Professional, approachable manner with a customer-first attitude
\n
• Valid UK driving licence (desirable)
\n
