Senior Commercial Underwriter

We are working with a long established, well respected and chartered insurer operating in an interesting niche market. This client boasts a superb reputation as a financially robust, highly ethical and customer focused organisation.

We are working in partnership with the business to attract a technically proficient commercial underwriter who will assume a key role within the Manchester operation. Your role will be varied and as well as the thrust of this position, which lies with providing guidance to less experienced colleagues, you will also be responsible for underwriting complex renewals, working with a well-established broker panel.

Essentially you will be a competent and experienced commercial underwriter with a bias towards Property. Knowledge of complex risks along with robust broker relationship management skills will ensure you are successful in this role. You should also be a confident communicator with the ability to support and guide subordinates, bringing technical expertise to the Manchester underwriting team.
