About the RoleWe are working with a respected London-based wholesale insurance brokerage seeking a Wholesale Account Handler / Broker to support a portfolio of key broker partners.In this role, you’ll be responsible for broker-to-broker servicing, placement, and renewals across a wide range of commercial products, including Property Owners, Terrorism, Management Liability, and Engineering.This is a hands-on position within the London wholesale market, ideal for someone who understands the dynamics of placing business via insurers and underwriters, and is looking to further develop within a technically strong team.

Key Responsibilities

• Support broker partners with wholesale placements, renewals, and technical queries
\n
• Manage the end-to-end renewal and placing process, including market engagement and negotiation
\n
• Gather and present risk information to underwriters to secure competitive terms
\n
• Handle mid-term adjustments and ensure accurate policy documentation
\n
• Maintain precise records within Acturis and ensure data accuracy
\n
• Build strong working relationships with underwriters, insurers, and broker partners
\n
• Stay up to date with market trends, insurer appetite, and product developments
\n
• Ensure all work is compliant with FCA regulations and internal standards
\n

Skills & Experience Required

\n
• Experience as a Wholesale Account Handler, Wholesale Broker, or within a broker-to-broker environment
\n
• Strong understanding of commercial insurance products (Property Owners, Liability, etc.)
\n
• Experience working within the London market or wholesale insurance sector
\n
• Confident liaising with underwriters and insurer panels
\n
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
\n
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple placements
\n
• Acturis experience preferred
\n
• Good understanding of FCA compliance
\n
