Print Production Assistant

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a well-established manufacturing business who are looking to recruit a Print Production Assistant to join their operation on a permanent basis.

Location: GainsboroughSalary: £30,927Working Hours: 12-hour days and nights on a rotating shift pattern

• Assisting with the operation and set-up of flexographic printing machinery
\n
• Supporting Printers and Shift Managers to ensure production targets are achieved
\n
• Preparing materials, inks, and consumables for production runs
\n
• Monitoring print quality and reporting any defects or issues
\n
• Reporting any quality control defects and escalating concerns where necessary
\n
• Stripping down, cleaning, and storing printing plates following production runs
\n
• Taping print sleeves and preparing them for the Mounting Department
\n
• Carrying out basic machine checks and supporting routine maintenance activities
\n
• Ensuring production documentation is completed accurately
\n
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness within the print department
\n
• Following all health & safety procedures and company policies
\n
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the department
\n

• Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, print, or machine operating environment
\n
• A keen eye for detail and commitment to quality standards
\n
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
\n
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced production environment
\n
• Good communication and teamwork skills
\n
• Flexibility to work rotating days and nights
\n
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to support different areas of the production process
