Commercial Account Handler

NJR Recruitment are working with a well-established insurance broker to recruit an experienced Commercial Account Handler within their Stockport site. You’ll play a key role in delivering a high standard of service to a varied commercial client base, working closely with Account Executives to ensure all client needs are managed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities of the Account Handler:

• Supporting Account Executives with the management of renewals, new business, and mid-term adjustments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout.
\n
• Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring all documentation and financial transactions are processed correctly.
\n
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing a high level of service and tailored support.
\n
• Identifying opportunities to enhance cover and advising on potential gaps within existing policies.
\n
• Liaising with insurers to negotiate terms and support the placement of risks.
\n
• Handling mid-term changes and providing support with claims where required.
\n

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience within a Commercial Account Handler role in an insurance broking environment.
\n
• Strong communication skills with a proactive and client-focused approach.
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
\n
• A collaborative approach and commitment to delivering high service standards.

• Good understanding of commercial insurance products and the wider market.
\n
