\nLaunceston - Temporary Assignment - Part Time - 2 Days Per Week - £15 - £20 per hour

\nTrial Balance Consulting are pleased to be working with a well-established Cornwall based organisation to recruit an Interim Payroll Manager on a part time temporary basis.
\nThe assignment is expected to run for an initial period of approximately 2 to 3 months, although there may be the potential for the requirement to continue beyond this depending on business needs.
\nThe role will be based in Launceston for approximately two days per week, with flexibility around which days are worked.
\nWorking as part of a friendly and supportive finance team, the successful candidate will assume responsibility for the delivery of the organisation's payroll function, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time whilst maintaining excellent levels of service and compliance.
\nKey responsibilities to include:
\n- Processing monthly payroll for approximately 250 employees
\n- Ensuring accurate processing of payroll amendments including starters, leavers and changes
\n- Maintaining employee records and payroll data
\n- Processing statutory payments and deductions
\n- Liaising with employees and managers regarding payroll queries
\n- Supporting pension administration and associated payroll processes
\n- Ensuring compliance with current payroll legislation and HMRC requirements
\n- Assisting with payroll reporting and reconciliation activities
\n- Identifying opportunities to improve payroll processes and efficiency
\nWho are we looking for?
\nWe are seeking an experienced payroll professional with previous end to end payroll experience who is comfortable managing payroll processes with minimal supervision.
\nCandidates may currently be working as Payroll Managers, Payroll Officers, Senior Payroll Administrators, Payroll Specialists or similar and should possess excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
\nExperience using payroll software and strong Excel skills would be highly advantageous, alongside a flexible and proactive approach.
