What you'll do:

  • Coordinate and produce Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process documentation as well as related framework documents, ensuring clarity and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • \n
  • Translate high-level capital strategy into practical, well-governed outcomes by working collaboratively with cross-functional teams across the organisation.
  • \n
  • Engage with stakeholders from Commodities and Global Markets, Risk Management Group, Finance People and Engagement to set capital strategy and assess optimisation opportunities.
  • \n
  • Review models and data to guide stress testing exercises and sensitivity analysis, providing valuable insights for senior management committees.
  • \n
  • Plan and facilitate workshops that bring together key stakeholders to align priorities and develop actionable recommendations.
  • \n
  • Present complex financial information in a clear manner to senior forums, supporting informed decision-making at the highest levels of the organisation.
  • \n
  • Support daily monitoring of capital positions, ensuring robust governance processes are followed for European regulated entities.
  • \n
  • Review new business proposals to assess their impact on capital requirements and identify opportunities for optimisation.
  • \n
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant European capital adequacy regulations such as CRD and CRR, applying this understanding to all aspects of your work.
  • \n
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in reporting processes, governance frameworks, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.

What you bring:

  • A minimum of four years' experience within financial services, ideally with exposure to treasury functions or prudential risk environments.
  • \n
  • Demonstrated experience producing or reviewing Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process documentation is highly advantageous for this position.
  • \n
  • Exceptional analytical skills combined with strong numerical capability, enabling you to interpret complex financial data effectively.
  • \n
  • Proven ability to manage projects involving multiple dependencies while meeting tight deadlines through effective stakeholder engagement.
  • \n
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills that allow you to explain intricate concepts confidently to diverse audiences including senior management committees.
  • \n
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation purposes.
  • \n
  • A solid understanding of European capital adequacy regulations such as CRD (Capital Requirements Directive) and CRR (Capital Requirements Regulation).
  • \n
  • Professional qualifications related to finance or risk management are considered beneficial but not essential for success in this role.
