We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Community Support Workers to join our team for part-time work, specifically during the weekend. This role involves supporting the emotional and physical well-being of both children and adults within their own homes and in community settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and a deep understanding of safeguarding protocols.
\nDay-to-day of the role:

- Provide attentive care, addressing both physical and emotional needs in the home environment and during outings into the community for both children and adults. \n
- Follow detailed care plans tailored to each individual's specific needs, including requirements for personal care and community activities. \n
- Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for individuals both at home and during community outings. \n
- Monitor and report any changes in the conditions of individuals to relevant professionals. \n
- Ensure all interactions and activities are conducted in a respectful and professional manner, adhering to all safeguarding protocols. \n
- Travel to homes and accompany individuals to various community locations, ensuring timely and efficient care delivery. \n
- Weekend availability is essential for this role. \n
Required Skills & Qualifications:

- A minimum of 6 months care-related experience in the UK. \n
- Strong awareness of safeguarding issues and protocols, especially related to vulnerable groups including children. \n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both children, adults, and their support networks. \n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. \n
- Empathetic and compassionate nature, with a commitment to providing high-quality care. \n
- An up-to-date DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service. Support available for new DBS applications. \n
- Right to work in the UK. \n
- Suitability to work with various groups in a care setting, including providing personal care and support. \n
- Strong written communication skills for maintaining logs and observations as part of the role. \n
