Maintenance Engineer - Multi-SkilledWorcestershire - permanent - fulltime - Up to £52,000 - Day and Night Shift (4on 4off) My client is a leading UK manufacturer supplying products into major retail and commercial markets. Due to continued investment and growth, they are looking to strengthen their engineering team with the appointment of a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer.Applications are welcomed from electrically biased, mechanically biased, or fully multi-skilled engineers with experience gained within manufacturing, FMCG, production, process, military, or other fast-paced engineering environments.Commutable from Worcester, Bromsgrove, Redditch, Kidderminster and CheltenhamThe role:\n
- \n
- Complete planned, preventative and reactive maintenance activities across a range of automated production equipment. \n
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and control system faults to minimise downtime. \n
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, pneumatic diagrams and mechanical drawings. \n
- Use the site's CMMS system to record maintenance activity and support asset reliability. \n
- Support condition-based maintenance and asset improvement initiatives. \n
- Identify recurring equipment issues and contribute towards long-term engineering solutions. \n
- Participate in root cause analysis activities and implement corrective actions. \n
- Work closely with production teams to maximise equipment availability and performance. \n
- Assist with continuous improvement projects focused on safety, reliability, quality and efficiency. \n
- Support installation, commissioning and modification of plant equipment where required. \n
- Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with site procedures. \n

- Time-served engineering apprenticeship. \n
- Experience working within a manufacturing, production or process environment. \n
- Electrical qualification to ONC/HNC level or equivalent experience preferred. \n
- Strong fault-finding skills across electrical and mechanical systems. \n
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a shift engineering team. \n
- Understanding of preventative maintenance and continuous improvement methodologies. \n

- HNC in Electrical Engineering. \n
- Experience with automated manufacturing equipment. \n
- IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent health & safety qualification. \n
- Knowledge of FMEA, RCA or other structured problem-solving tools. \n
