FINANCE ASSISTANT – PART TIME – IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE
\n\nVenn Group are working with a growing FMCG organisation to recruit a motivated and personal Finance Assistant for their finance team during an exciting period of business transformation. The role would suit an experienced Finance Assistant or Accounts Assistant who enjoys a varied position, is comfortable working autonomously, and thrives within a fast-paced commercial environment.
\n\nLocation: London Bridge
\nWorking Pattern: Part-Time – 3 Days Per Week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
\nContract Type: 6 Month +
\nDay Rate: £150 per day via umbrella
\nStart Date: ASAP
\n\nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Process and post purchase invoices accurately and efficiently \n
- Raise and issue sales invoices \n
- Post bank transactions and perform bank reconciliations \n
- Manage credit control activities and follow up outstanding debt \n
- Raise customer orders and maintain accurate records \n
- Investigate and resolve customer deductions, shortages and discrepancies \n
- Support ad hoc finance and operational activities across the business \n
- Assist the wider team throughout a significant ERP and systems implementation project \n
- Maintain accurate financial records and support efficient finance processes \n
Key Requirements
\nEssential:
\n- \n
- Previous experience within a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant or similar transactional finance role \n
- Strong understanding of purchase ledger, sales ledger and bank reconciliations \n
- Experience managing credit control and customer account queries \n
- Ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively \n
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills \n
- Good Excel skills and confidence using finance systems \n
Desirable:

- Previous experience within an FMCG environment \n
- Knowledge of EDI systems \n
- Experience working within an SME business \n
