Applications Engineer – Tendering & Client EngagementWe’re recruiting for an Applications Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team focused on delivering high-quality project solutions and winning new business through effective tendering. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the commercial side of engineering and thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.The RoleYou’ll be responsible for managing project opportunities from initial enquiry through to tender submission and delivery. Key responsibilities include:\n

• Preparing and submitting high-quality technical proposals
\n
• Managing and tracking project opportunities through internal systems
\n
• Building long-term relationships with contractors and clients
\n
• Identifying new project opportunities and contributing to pipeline growth
\n
• Supporting projects throughout the full lifecycle, from tender to completion
\n
• Monitoring forecasts and prioritising high-value opportunities
\n

What We’re Looking For\n

\n
• Experience in an Applications Engineer or similar technical role
\n
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and layouts
\n
• Commercial awareness with a proactive, results-driven mindset
\n
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
\n
• Comfortable working independently and within a team
\n
