Job Description
*35 hours per week on an alternate shift pattern. Week 1 – 3 days 8am-6pm, week 2 – 4 days 8am-6pm (to include Saturday and Sunday)
\nAs a Receptionist, you will be responsible for managing front office reception and administration duties within a specialist care home.
\nDuties for the Receptionist:
\n- \n
- To answer all telephone calls that come through to Reception internally and externally \n
- Meet and greet all visitors maintaining a helpful and professional approach \n
- Receive and distribute incoming post and manage outgoing post \n
- Handle deliveries \n
- Manage the signing in book daily \n
- Create and amend staff rotas as well as booking and cancelling agency staff \n
- Completing orders such as; uniform, stationary, amazon \n
- Raising purchase orders and filing accordingly \n
- Organising transport and taxis \n
- Taking samples to the local surgery and pharmacy if and when required as well as collecting medication \n
- Updating the internal HR/clocking in system \n
- Liaising with the maintenance team when support is required \n
- Managing the staff lunch ordering book and spreadsheet \n
- To carry out ad-hoc admin tasks as required \n
Ideal Receptionist Competencies:
\n- \n
- Previous experience within a Receptionist/Administrator role \n
- Ability to demonstrate confidentiality and discretion \n
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written \n
- Ability to plan and prioritise work \n
- IT literate to include the use of Microsoft Office – specifically Excel \n
As a Receptionist, you will be required to work 35 hours per week on a 2 week alternating shift pattern. The position is temporary with the potential to go perm and is offering £12.98 per hour. Due to companies location, you must be able to drive – free parking on site. Please note you must be registered on the DBS update service.
