The Role

Are you looking to start a rewarding career in the lift industry? We are looking for a Trainee Installation Mate to join our Edinburgh-based Installation team.

This is an excellent opportunity to learn from experienced Lift Installation Engineers, gaining hands-on experience while assisting with the installation of new lifts and elevators across a variety of projects. As a Trainee Installation Mate, you'll play an important role in every stage of the installation process, from unloading materials and preparing the site to supporting the Lead Engineer through to completion and testing.

Working as part of a supportive team, you'll develop valuable technical skills while building the foundations for a long-term career within the lift industry.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assisting with the installation of new lifts and elevators alongside an experienced Installation Engineer.
\n
• Safely unloading and preparing materials and equipment on site.
\n
• Supporting the Lead Engineer throughout each stage of the installation process.
\n
• Ensuring work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures.
\n
• Helping prepare completed installations for testing and handover.
\n
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
\n

What We're Looking For

\n
• Experience within a construction environment is beneficial.
\n
• A CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card would be advantageous, but is not essential.
\n
• A willingness to learn, take instruction and develop new skills.
\n
• A strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
\n
• A full, clean UK driving licence.
\n
• The ability to successfully pass a DBS check.
\n
