Trials Technician

Our client BAE Systems, a prominent organisation in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking two Trials Technicians to join their team in Risdale on a 12-month contract.

• Ensure allocated tests and trials are completed in a safe manner to the highest quality standards, within customer time and cost constraints
\n
• Maintain all equipment required for tests and trials to a high standard and ensure suitability for tasks
\n
• Operate lifting equipment, including forklift trucks
\n
• Complete equipment records accurately
\n
• Set up, operate, and break down test arenas
\n
• Provide test data to the Trials Engineer for customer reports
\n
• Continuously improve the Ridsdale range test facilities and capabilities
\n
• Ensure compliance with SHE legislation and Business safe systems of work for self and others
\n

\n
• Experience working within a mechanical environment
\n
• Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001 is desirable
\n
• Proficient in using SAP, Microsoft Office, and Teamcenter is desirable
\n
• Recognised Safety and Health Management qualification (e.g. IOSH) is desirable
\n
• Ability to provide innovative and practical solutions to complex issues
\n
• Strong negotiation and decision-making skills in a dynamic environment
\n
• Positive 'can do' attitude and commitment to continuous improvement
\n
