We're looking for an experienced CNC Turner to join a well-established engineering business in Romsey. You'll play an important role in producing high-quality precision components by:

\n
• Setting up and operating CNC turning machines
\n
• Programming CNC machines using G-code and making machine adjustments where required
\n
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
\n
• Selecting the correct tooling, fixtures, and materials
\n
• Inspecting finished components using precision measuring equipment
\n
• Maintaining tight tolerances and high quality standards
\n
• Troubleshooting machining issues to minimise downtime
\n
• Following health and safety procedures while maintaining a clean workspace
\n

We're looking for someone who has:

\n
• Previous experience as a CNC Turner
\n
• A strong understanding of CNC machining processes and tooling
\n
• Experience reading engineering drawings and technical specifications
\n
• CNC programming knowledge, ideally with Fanuc, Siemens, or Mazatrol controls
\n
• Experience using micrometers, verniers, gauges, and other inspection equipment
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
\n
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
\n
• A full UK driving licence
\n
