£50,000 - £62,000 per annum

Tony Alan Recruitment currently has an exciting job opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join a well-known organisation in the Brighton area on an 8-month fixed term contract.

Working as part of the finance team, you will support the full year-end close process, ensuring financial information is complete, accurate, and delivered within agreed deadlines. You will oversee the annual external audit, acting as a key point of contact for auditors, preparing reconciliations and supporting schedules, resolving audit queries, and ensuring all required documentation is readily available.

Your duties will include:

• Manage production of the businesses annual accounts and published financial statements

• Review financial reporting against external best practice to deliver improvements
\n
• Co-ordinate the month end, quarter end and year end process
\n
• Balance sheet reconciliations
\n
• Account consolidation
\n
• Overseeing the business audit
\n

Key requirements:

\n
• You must be immediately available or on a short notice period
\n
• Track record of year-end preparation
\n
• Experience of managing an audit
\n
• Strong Excel skills
\n
