Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) / Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) – Remote Telephone Triage

Are you an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) or Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) looking for flexible, remote work within a busy urgent care environment?

We are seeking highly skilled clinicians to join a remote telephone triage service, supporting patients with urgent and unscheduled care needs. This role is ideal for autonomous practitioners who thrive in fast-paced clinical settings and are confident making complex clinical decisions over the phone.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive telephone assessments for patients presenting with urgent healthcare needs.
\n
• Provide evidence-based clinical advice, treatment plans and onward referrals where appropriate.
\n
• Safely assess risk and determine the most appropriate care pathway.
\n
• Work independently whilst maintaining high standards of clinical governance.
\n
• Accurately document consultations using electronic patient record systems.
\n
• Manage a varied caseload of urgent and same-day presentations.
\n

Essential Requirements

Registered ACP or ANP with current NMC or HCPC registration

Full Advanced Practice Master's Degree (MSc Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent)

Proven experience in Telephone Triage

Recent and substantial experience within Urgent Care, Out of Hours, NHS 111, Walk-In Centres, Urgent Treatment Centres or similar settings

Independent clinical decision-making skills and confidence managing patients remotely

Excellent communication and consultation skills
