The Opportunity:Nigel Wright Group is exclusively partnering with a fast-paced, entrepreneurial business operating at the front end of a high-volume, inbound sales environment. With a strong digital lead engine and a consistent flow of opportunities, the team is focused on converting motivated customers into commercially viable deals quickly and efficiently. This is a high-performance, target-driven environment where success is built on speed, quality of conversation and the ability to consistently convert opportunities.They are now looking to appoint a Sales Manager - a true player-manager role, ideal for someone who wants to lead from the front, drive their own performance and raise the standards of those around them.Role Profile:\n

  • Monitor and manage team pipeline, ensuring strong follow-up discipline and rapid response to inbound leads
  • \n
  • Manage and convert a personal pipeline of high-volume inbound opportunities, negotiating directly with customers to secure commercially viable deals
  • \n
  • Deliver against individual targets including conversion rate, deals agreed and revenue contribution
  • \n
  • Provide live, on-the-floor coaching to improve team call quality, conversion and overall performance
  • \n
  • Support deal structuring and pricing, ensuring all opportunities align with commercial and valuation frameworks
  • \n
  • Act as a role model for performance and behaviour, handling complex negotiations and setting the benchmark for the team
  • \n
Person Specification:\n
    \n
  • Proven experience in a target-driven, high-volume sales environment, ideally working with inbound or marketing-generated leads
  • \n
  • Experience of leading, coaching or mentoring others, even if not in a formal management position
  • \n
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to negotiate, challenge and close deals effectively
  • \n
  • Confident communicator, able to build trust quickly and handle both commercial and sensitive conversations
  • \n
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deals and competing priorities simultaneously
  • \n
  • Driven, resilient and competitive, with a strong desire to perform personally while improving the performance of others
  • \n
