Sales Office Manager

We're recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing manufacturer in York. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Office Manager to lead an internal sales team and play a key role in supporting business growth.

You'll manage the day-to-day sales office operation, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient processing of enquiries and orders, and strong collaboration across commercial and operational teams.

• Lead, coach and develop the internal sales team.
\n
• Oversee customer enquiries, quotations and order processing.
\n
• Build strong customer relationships and support key accounts.
\n
• Monitor KPIs and report on sales performance.
\n
• Maintain CRM and ERP systems, supporting ongoing process improvements.
\n
• Work closely with production, purchasing and senior management.
\n
• Attend occasional customer visits and UK trade shows.
\n

• Previous experience managing an internal sales or customer service team.
\n
• Strong B2B sales or account management background.
\n
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
\n
• Experience using CRM/ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
\n
• Manufacturing, engineering or electronics experience is desirable.
\n
• Full UK driving licence.
\n
• Able to work on-site in York.
\n
