Production Supervisor

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting an experienced Production Supervisor to join a well-established and highly respected manufacturing business based in Rotherham to manage a well established machine shop.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be responsible for driving performance, quality, safety and engagement across a busy production operation. You'll lead a team of operatives, ensuring production targets are achieved whilst maintaining the highest standards of health & safety and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities of the Production Supervisor role include:

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of production operatives
\n
• Drive a positive safety culture and ensure compliance with all HSE procedures
\n
• Monitor production performance, output and efficiency against KPIs
\n
• Manage staffing levels, labour allocation and resource planning
\n
• Support continuous improvement activities to enhance productivity and reduce waste
\n
• Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions
\n
• Ensure quality standards are maintained and customer requirements are met
\n
• Conduct performance reviews, training and coaching activities
\n

We’re looking for Production Supervisors with the below skills & experience:

\n
• Previous experience in a leadership role within manufacturing
\n
• Strong background in CNC machining is essential
\n
• Strong people management and communication skills
\n
• Proven ability to drive performance and improve operational efficiency
\n
• Experience working within a KPI-driven environment
\n
• Good understanding of Health & Safety and quality standards
\n
• A proactive, hands-on leadership style with the ability to engage and develop teams
\n
• Continuous improvement experience would be advantageous
