Location: Stockport

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000

The role

You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of service charge accounts and ensuring accurate, timely and compliant financial reporting.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing service charge accounts and year-end reconciliations
\n
• Producing budgets and monitoring expenditure against forecast
\n
• Reviewing income, expenditure and reserve fund movements
\n
• Investigating and resolving service charge queries
\n
• Liaising with property managers, clients, auditors and other stakeholders
\n
• Ensuring accounts are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines
\n
• Supporting the wider team during peak periods
\n
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and reporting
\n

About you

Previous experience within a service charge accounting role is essential.

You may already be operating at this level and looking to use your experience within a more supportive, modern and rewarding environment. You will be organised, accurate and confident managing deadlines, with the ability to communicate effectively with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
