Social Worker - Fostering - Peterborough City Council

Our client, Peterborough City Council is seeking an agency social worker for its Fostering team.

This post will last at least 3 months.

And it’s paid at £39 per hour.

The role will involve the following:

• Supervising Social Worker – Fostering
\n
• £39ph Umbrella
\n
• 37 hours per week
\n
• Sand Martin House (1 day in office)
\n
• Supervise a caseload of up to 15 Fostering households.
\n
• Carry out monthly supervisions, offer support, attend meetings, including Child Care Reviews, placement planning meetings.
\n
• Complete Foster Carer annual reviews
\n
• Support the placement team on a day duty rota
\n
• Complete checks and risk assessments
\n
• Work alongside children’s social work teams and education and clinical team.
\n

Requirements of the role:

\n
• Qualified Social Worker
\n
• Fully Social Work England registered
\n
• 3 years post-qualified experience in employment of a local authority (DFE rules)
\n
• Must have significant experience in Fostering social work
\n
