Principal / Associate Fire Engineer | Build Something from the Ground Up
\nLondon, Bristol or Birmingham | £70,000 to £80,000 + car allowance + bonus
\n\nAre you an experienced Fire Engineer looking for more influence, visibility and long-term progression?
\nI am representing a respected independent consultancy that is launching an in-house fire engineering service. They already have the clients, project pipeline and multidisciplinary expertise. What they need now is someone with the technical ability and ambition to help develop the offering.
\nThis is not a role where you will be left to build a division alone. You will have senior support, established relationships and a clear route towards leading the service as it grows.
\n\nThe role
\n• Deliver fire strategies, technical advice and design solutions
\n• Support due diligence, refurbishment and remediation projects
\n• Work closely with building surveyors, project managers and engineers
\n• Advise major investors, developers, owners and occupiers
\n• Help shape services, standards and future growth
\n• Build client relationships and support new business opportunities
\n\nWhat you will bring
\n• Experience within a fire engineering consultancy
\n• A relevant Fire Engineering or STEM qualification
\n• Knowledge of Approved Document B, BS 9999 and BS 7974
\n• Experience using or interpreting CFD and evacuation models
\n• MIFireE membership
\n• IEng or CEng status, or progress towards it
\n• FRA and FRAEW knowledge
\n\nWhat is on offer
