Sales Assistant / Finance Assistant

Carrickcraft, Markethill

Carrickcraft is the largest operator of hire cruisers on the Shannon and the Erne with a fleet of 115 boats in three marinas. Over half of customers are from German speaking countries.

Based in Markethill, Co Armagh.

Main job activities:

\n
• Assist sales staff particularly on administrative issues with existing bookings.
\n
• Creation of and sending out our commercial newsletters.
\n
• Attend trade shows a few times a year.
\n
• Be responsible for maintaining the sales and purchase ledger’s in Sage 50 Accounts.
\n
• Resolve price queries with Travel Agents.
\n
• Assist the Sales Manager and Director as required.
\n

Essential Skills:

\n
• An excellent telephone manner in order to generate telesales.
\n
• A thorough approach to work with the motivation to finalise outstanding tasks.
\n
• Good I.T skills with the ability to use all Microsoft Office products.
\n

Desirable Criteria:

\n
• A working knowledge of Sage 50 sales and purchase ledgers.
\n
• A knowledge of all social media.
  
\n

This position is for 24 hours per week, which will include a Monday, a Friday and one other day to be agreed. The position will attract a very good rate per hour. A clean driving licence is essential.
