This Engineering Project Manager role is based onsite five days a week near Stevenage and requires close collaboration with engineering, operations, and commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities of Engineering Project Manager

• Manage end-to-end delivery of new product development (NPD) projects across the full product lifecycle
\n
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification
\n
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, quality, and commercial functions
\n
• Manage project risks, resources, and costs within a structured stage-gate environment
\n
• Track and report project progress, budgets, and performance to senior stakeholders
\n
• Maintain structured project governance, reporting, and delivery frameworks
\n
• Drive continuous improvement across project delivery and NPD processes
\n

Requirements for Engineering Project Manager Role

• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related discipline
\n
• Proven experience delivering NPD or product development projects
\n
• Background in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments
\n
• Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional leadership skills
\n
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, complex environment
\n
• Experience managing budgets, forecasting, and cost control
\n
• Experience with stage-gate, product lifecycle management
\n
