On-site Audio-Visual Engineer
\nPermanently based on a single client site, behaving as an ambassador for the AV Department at all times, including the technical setup, operation, and repair of equipment used to enhance collaborative meetings and live events.Successful candidates must have the right to work in the UK and live within commutable distance of our clients premises near Liverpool Street
\nKnowledge& Key Skills - Onsite Work: 90%
\nThe on-site AV Engineer will prepare meeting rooms for presentations, Video and Audio conferencing, and collaboration
\nSupporting a wide variety of AV software and hardware
\nComprehensive ability to troubleshoot a wide range of technology incidents and problems
\nUsing Service Desk software to effectively manage all support and service requests
\nTaking complete ownership of and resolving all notified support and service issues, promptly, courteously, and professionally to agreed service levels (SLAs)
\nKeeping end-users fully informed during and at resolution, leaving them assured that they are receiving the best attention
\nMaintaining training and support function documentation
\nEffectively communicating with internal customers with respect to support issues
\nMaintaining an accurate inventory of all AV hardware, firmware, software, and configurations
\nContributing to the specification and procurement of new hardware and software
\nMonitoring and optimising AV system performance
\nAssist in office relocations
\nLeaving the support function in such a state that it could easily be picked up by colleagues during an absence.
\nAdmin 10%
\nFollow appropriate departmental and company procedures and policies (i.e., change control, problem and incident management)
\nMonitor performance through the scorecard
\nMonthly meetings with on-site primary contact
\nReporting ticket management
\nEssential:
\nPrevious AV support experience in a concierge service
\nSkilled AV Engineer possessing good interpersonal skills, and should be comfortable with Senior Management
\nMust be smart and confident in their appearance.
\nShould have proven abilities within the AV industry and/or corporate environment for over 5 years
\nExcellent communication and customer service skills
\nEnthusiastic and organised
\nAbility to work under pressure
\nGood knowledge OF Crestron, AMX, and RTI
\nKnowledge of Lutron lighting control, Polycom, and MS Teams
\nA firm understanding of networking protocols, RS232, and RS485
\nGood understanding of VOIP telephony and SIP
\nGood understanding of video collaboration and audio conferencing
