Join Ipsos and take on a role that gets you out and about in your local area. As a Field Market Research Interviewer, you’ll travel across bus routes and stations, speaking with passengers to help improve public transport across Scotland.
\nWhat the Role Involves
\nEach shift is based on a specific route, stop, or station. You’ll be provided with everything you need, including a tablet, survey materials, and ID, to carry out your work confidently.
\nDuring your shift, you will:

- Approach passengers and invite them to take part in a short survey \n
- Ask a set of structured questions and accurately record responses \n
- Capture feedback on their journey and experience \n
- Occasionally count passenger numbers (footfall) \n

Shifts may vary:
\n- \n
- Some involve travelling on a bus for the full route \n
- Others are based at a bus stop or station (typically around 3 hours) \n
\n
You’ll be working independently, often in public-facing environments, so confidence and resilience are key.

What to Expect

- Paid per shift (rather than hourly) \n
- Typically around 2 shifts per week, depending on local demand \n
- Flexible, part-time work that fits around other commitments \n
- Free travel on the bus services you are surveying \n
