\nAbout the Role
\nOur client are looking for a proactive and organised HR Administrator to join their HR team. This is a varied role supporting the delivery of a high-quality recruitment and HR administration service.
\nThe successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating recruitment activities, ensuring compliance with recruitment, supporting onboarding processes, and maintaining accurate HR records. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration skills and an interest in developing a career in Human Resources.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nRecruitment

- Partner with hiring managers to understand recruitment requirements. \n
- Draft and advertise vacancies across job boards, websites, social media and other recruitment channels. \n
- Advise managers on recruitment advertising, timescales and best practice. \n
- Screen applications and CVs in line with safer recruitment and organisational procedures. \n
- Coordinate interviews, including scheduling, booking venues and communicating with candidates. \n
- Carry out employment references and pre-employment checks. \n
- Keep candidates informed throughout the recruitment process. \n
- Liaise with recruitment agencies and other external partners when required. \n
- Prepare interview documentation and recruitment packs. \n
- Produce recruitment reports and maintain accurate recruitment records. \n
HR Administration

- Support the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring all documentation and compliance checks are completed. \n
- Maintain accurate electronic and paper personnel records using the HR information system. \n
- Prepare employment contracts and onboarding documentation. \n
- Ensure payroll receives accurate and timely information relating to new starters, leavers and contractual changes. \n
- Assist with maintaining statutory employment and safeguarding records. \n
- Respond to HR enquiries from employees and managers in a professional and timely manner. \n
- Coordinate HR meetings, prepare agendas and take minutes where required. \n
- Support the administration of training and development activities. \n
- Assist with HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives. \n
- Provide general administrative support across the HR function. \n
About You
\nOur client is looking for someone who has:
\n- \n
- Previous experience in an HR Administration or Recruitment Administration role. \n
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. \n
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. \n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. \n
- Experience using HR systems (CIPHR or similar HRIS is desirable). \n
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel. \n
- The ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. \n
- A proactive, customer-focused approach and a willingness to support a busy HR team. \n
