Reed Practice have been engaged by a well-respected and successful accountancy firm who have been serving clients for over 60 years, to recruit a Client Accounts Manager.

\n

This firm has built an excellent reputation across the region over the years, offering tailored accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients. This is a newly created, progressive position in the firm, a reaction to succession planning and organic growth. As Client Accounts Manager you will take ownership of your own portfolio of clients, managing relationships and ensuring the delivery of a high-quality service as well as overseeing juniors.

Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Building strong, trusted client relationships as a go-to advisor
  • \n
  • Review the preparation of statutory year-end accounts in line with UK regulations for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
  • \n
  • Assess the quality of the prepared VAT returns and bookkeeping data.
  • \n
  • Reviewing and completing corporation tax returns, offering advice where required.
  • \n
  • Producing self-assessment tax returns. Checking returns completed by the team.
  • \n
  • Supporting clients with general accounting and business queries drawing on your technical expertise to provide sound financial advice.
  • \n

We’re looking for someone who is:

    \n
  • ACA, ACCA or AAT qualified
  • \n
  • Experienced within an accountancy practice environment including overseeing staff and reviewing work.
  • \n
  • Strong in UK statutory and tax compliance
  • \n
  • Well versed with systems such as Xero and Quickbooks
  • \n
  • Commercially aware with a proactive mindset
  • \n
  • A confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
  • \n
  • Highly organised with strong time management abilities
  • \n
