\nReed Practice have been engaged by a well-respected and successful accountancy firm who have been serving clients for over 60 years, to recruit a Client Accounts Manager.
\nThis firm has built an excellent reputation across the region over the years, offering tailored accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients. With Partners who bring experience from Top 10 firms, local practices, and industry, you’ll benefit working with like-minded high calibre professionals within a collaborative, positive team environment.
\nThis is a newly created, progressive position in the firm, a reaction to succession planning and organic growth. As Client Accounts Manager you will take ownership of your own portfolio of clients, managing relationships and ensuring the delivery of a high-quality service as well as overseeing juniors.
\nYour primary responsibilities include:
\n- \n
- Building strong, trusted client relationships as a go-to advisor \n
- Review the preparation of statutory year-end accounts in line with UK regulations for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies \n
- Assess the quality of the prepared VAT returns and bookkeeping data. \n
- Reviewing and completing corporation tax returns, offering advice where required. \n
- Producing self-assessment tax returns. Checking returns completed by the team. \n
- Supporting clients with general accounting and business queries drawing on your technical expertise to provide sound financial advice. \n
We’re looking for someone who is:
\n- \n
- ACA, ACCA or AAT qualified \n
- Experienced within an accountancy practice environment including overseeing staff and reviewing work. \n
- Strong in UK statutory and tax compliance \n
- Well versed with systems such as Xero and Quickbooks \n
- Commercially aware with a proactive mindset \n
- A confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills \n
- Highly organised with strong time management abilities \n
