\n\n- \n
- Are you an FMCG marketer with experience owning brand plans and commercial performance? \n
- Have you launched NPD and delivered 360 campaigns across ATL, digital, social, OLV and shopper? \n
- Can you use Nielsen, Kantar, shopper and market data to diagnose performance issues and recommend action? \n
The opportunity
\nThis is a Brand Manager role with ownership of one of the UK's most recognisable household cleaning brands.
\nYou will take responsibility for the annual brand plan, brand performance, innovation, campaigns and commercial delivery. This is not a pure communications role. You will be expected to understand what is driving brand performance, what is not working, and what needs to change commercially.
\nThe role would suit a commercially savvy FMCG marketer who enjoys pace, accountability and cross-functional delivery. You will need to be comfortable working in a fast-moving, complex environment where priorities can shift and where you are expected to take ownership rather than wait for perfect conditions.
\nYou will work closely with global brand, trade marketing, media, sales, supply and finance teams, turning consumer, shopper and market insight into plans that can drive growth.
\n\nWhat you will be doing
\nYou will lead and deliver the annual brand plan, ensuring activity is aligned to financial, P&L and market share targets.
\nDay to day, you will be responsible for:
\n\n- \n
- Leading the annual brand plan and turning strategy into clear activity \n
- Owning brand performance against financial, P&L and market share targets \n
- Analysing brand, category and market performance using Nielsen, Kantar and internal reporting \n
- Diagnosing performance issues and recommending corrective actions \n
- Identifying growth opportunities through consumer, shopper and market insight \n
- Championing business development initiatives that unlock incremental growth \n
- Supporting the NPD pipeline and helping bring innovation to market \n
- Developing and executing integrated campaigns across ATL, BTL, digital, social, OLV and shopper \n
- Working with media teams and agencies to drive awareness, engagement and conversion \n
- Supporting trade marketing with customer-specific activation plans, channel strategies and promotional calendars \n
- Partnering with sales teams to create compelling customer sell-ins and support strong retail execution \n
What you will need
\nYou will need:
\n- \n
- At least 3 years' experience in brand marketing or FMCG marketing \n
- Experience launching NPD and managing projects end to end \n
- Experience delivering 360 campaigns across TV, digital, social, OLV and shopper channels \n
- Strong analytical capability and confidence working with brand, category and market performance data \n
- Ability to turn insight and data into clear commercial recommendations \n
- Commercial awareness, ideally including exposure to brand performance, market share, financial targets or P&L delivery \n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills \n
- Confidence working cross-functionally with sales, trade, media, finance and supply teams \n
- Curiosity, initiative and the drive to take ownership \n
- Bachelor's degree \n
Experience that would be useful
\nThe following would be helpful, but not essential:
\n- \n
- UK FMCG market experience, particularly working with UK retail, shopper or customer teams \n
- Experience in household, home care, cleaning, personal care or another fast-moving consumer category \n
- Experience working with Nielsen, Kantar or internal brand performance reporting \n
- Experience supporting trade marketing, customer sell-ins or shopper activation plans \n
Package and working pattern
\n- \n
- Salary £55,000 to £60,000 \n
- £6,120 car allowance \n
- 15% bonus \n
- 10% employer pension contribution \n
- Healthcare \n
- Maidenhead location \n
- Hybrid working pattern, 3 days per week in the office \n
This would suit a Brand Manager or strong Assistant Brand Manager ready to step into broader ownership of brand performance, campaigns, NPD and commercial delivery.
