HGV Class 1 Driver

A&G Resourcing Ltd is currently recruiting Class 1 (Category C+E) HGV Drivers for our client based in Avonmouth.

We are looking for professional and reliable drivers to provide temporary holiday and sickness cover.

Confirmed day work is available from Monday 6th July for one week, with the possibility of extending into a second week. There may also be occasional night trunking shifts available as and when required.

Limited Company drivers are welcome.

Shift Information

Day Shifts

• 3–5 deliveries per shift
\n
• No manual handling – all loading and unloading is carried out by forklifts at customer premises.

Night Shifts (Occasional)

• Trunking work
\n

Pay Rates

Day Shifts

• £18.00 per hour PAYE plus hol
\n
• £20.00 per hour LTD
\n

Night Shifts

\n
• £19.00 per hour PAYE plus hol
\n
• £22.00 per hour LTD
\n

Requirements

\n
• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
\n
• Valid Driver CPC
\n
• Digital Tachograph Card
\n
• Good understanding of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations
\n
• Professional, reliable, and safety-conscious
\n

The Role

\n
• Complete scheduled deliveries safely and efficiently
\n
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks
\n
• Ensure loads are transported securely
\n
• Complete all required paperwork accurately
\n
• Provide excellent customer service while complying with all road transport and health & safety regulations
\n
