We are looking for a Loan Advisor for a successful business of specialist brokers who pride themselves on their commitment to customers, ability to help clients and industry knowledge. This company is well established, highly successful with great plans and goals in place which offers a wonderful place for mortgage professionals to build their career.

Duties include:

\n
• Using effective questioning skills to establish customer needs, recommend lenders mortgage products and service to customers for whom they are suitable as part of a full advice and recommendation service delivered over the telephone.
\n
• Ensure that all advice is given on the basis of a full and detailed fact find which complies with both the company’s and our regulator’s requirements.
\n
• Present appropriate recommendations in a clear, concise and accurate manner, both verbally and in writing.
\n
• Project a professional image to your customers and colleagues. Build strong customer relationships and provide an excellent customer experience
\n
• Maintain an excellent knowledge of the our lenders mortgage products, underwriting and affordability requirements
\n
• Proactively pre-empt issues with regards to customers and resolve problems arising
\n
• Understand what Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) means within your work
\n
• Ensure that your knowledge and use of OMS (CRM Database) is accurate and appropriate; maintain and develop this knowledge
\n
• Deal with and update brokers on a regular basis
\n
• Converse with lenders on a regular basis
\n

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:

\n
• CeMAP level 3
\n
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills
\n
• The ability to explain complex information clearly and simply
\n
• The ability to respect confidential information
\n
• A friendly, approachable attitude and an excellent judge of character
\n
• A natural problem-solver with strong analytical skills, outgoing, good on the phone, proactive, hardworking and not a clock watcher.
\n
• High attention to detail
\n
