Nottingham | Full-Time | Office-Based | Circa £45,000 DOE

Are you an experienced Executive Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced, demanding environment and enjoys being at the heart of a successful business?

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering manufacturer for an exceptional Executive Assistant to support the Director. This is a highly visible role where you will become a trusted partner, helping to drive efficiency, organisation and communication across a busy operational function.

\n

This opportunity is suited to a proactive, resilient and commercially minded EA who enjoys working at pace, can confidently manage competing priorities and isn't afraid to challenge where appropriate. You'll be supporting a decisive and results-focused leader, so you'll need the confidence and professionalism to operate effectively within a direct and high-expectation environment.

The Role

\n

As Executive Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of their day-to-day activities while providing high-level business support across a range of operational and strategic initiatives.

\n

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a complex and ever-changing diary, ensuring priorities are effectively coordinated
  • \n
  • Organising meetings, site visits, travel arrangements and executive schedules
  • \n
  • Producing reports, presentations and business documentation for senior leadership meetings
  • \n
  • Collating, analysing and presenting operational data and management information
  • \n
  • Monitoring key actions, deadlines and business priorities to ensure delivery
  • \n
  • Acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
  • \n
  • Supporting with projects, business improvements and operational initiatives
  • \n
  • Handling confidential and commercially sensitive information with absolute discretion
  • \n
  • Preparing meeting packs, agendas and board-level documentation
  • \n
  • Building strong relationships across multiple departments to facilitate effective communication and decision-making
  • \n

About You

\n

We are looking for a highly organised and driven Executive Assistant who can quickly establish themselves as a trusted extension of the Director.

\n

You'll likely have:

\n
    \n
  • Significant experience supporting C-Suite executives, Managing Directors, or senior leadership teams
  • \n
  • A proven track record of working within fast-paced, demanding environments
  • \n
  • Strong experience producing and interpreting reports, data analysis and management information
  • \n
  • Exceptional organisational and planning skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • \n
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work proactively with minimal supervision
  • \n
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
  • \n
  • A confident, professional and engaging approach
  • \n
  • High levels of resilience, discretion and emotional intelligence
  • \n
  • A strong work ethic and a genuine desire to add value
  • \n
  • The ability to anticipate needs, solve problems and keep things moving without being asked
  • \n
