Management Accountant – Doncaster - Minimum 12 Month Contract – Up to £48,000Are you an experienced Management Accountant looking for your next challenge? The Role: Taking ownership, working closely with operational stakeholders and making a genuine impact within a fast-paced commercial environment. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, management accounts and insightful analysis, while supporting the wider finance team throughout a significant business project.Key responsibilities will include:\n

• Preparing monthly management accounts and supporting reporting packs
\n
• Completing balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments
\n
• Maintaining the fixed asset register
\n
• Producing cash flow forecasts and financial projections
\n
• Preparing and posting weekly and monthly journals
\n
• Calculating stock, bad debt and customer rebate provisions
\n
• Producing Group reporting packs with commentary and variance analysis
\n
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
\n
• Delivering daily, weekly and monthly financial reporting
\n
• Supporting KPI reporting and performance analysis
\n
• Attending management meetings and partnering with key stakeholders
\n
• Providing cover for the Financial Controller
\n

You'll ideally have:\n

\n
• Previous experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar finance role
\n
• Strong experience producing monthly management accounts and month-end reporting with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
\n
• Experience preparing balance sheet reconciliations, journals and financial analysis
\n
• Strong Excel skills and experience using ERP systems (SAP experience would be advantageous but isn't essential)
