Advanced Practitioner - Children in Care - Coventry City Council

Our client, Coventry City Council, is seeking an Advanced Practitioner for its Children in Care team.

This post will last 3 months initially paid at £33.30.

The role will involve the following:

• Children in Care 0-12s
\n
• We support children through the court process and their future journey through the care system, whether this is adoption, fostering, connected persons or reunification.
\n
• All children in care duties, inclusive of undertaking court work from interim care order all the way through to conclusion.
\n
• Supporting via care orders
\n
• Supervision orders
\n
• Child protection and child in need
\n
• Team working and keeping children at the heart of all decision making.
\n
• Location: One Friargate Coventry, CV1 2GN
\n
• Hybrid working arrangement
\n

Requirements of the role:

\n
• Qualified Social Worker
\n
• Fully Social Work England registered
\n
• 3 years post-qualified experience in employment of a local authority (DFE rules)
\n
• Must have a strong background in children’s social care
\n
• Must have experience of undertaking all children in care statutory duties including court work
\n
