Senior Finance Analyst

I’m partnered with a large logistics business who are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to join a growing, commercially focused finance team in Leeds. This is an opportunity for an ambitious finance professional who enjoys going beyond reporting — turning data into insight, influencing decisions, and helping shape business performance.

You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, combining strong financial analysis with commercial thinking to support strategic decision-making.

What you’ll be doing

• Deliver meaningful financial analysis and performance reporting across the business
\n
• Build and improve forecasting, budgeting and financial planning processes
\n
• Partner with operational and commercial teams to provide actionable insight
\n
• Analyse trends, risks and opportunities to support business growth
\n
• Develop dashboards, models and reporting that drive better decisions
\n
• Support month-end and business performance reviews
\n
• Contribute to projects focused on process improvement and finance transformation
\n

What we’re looking for

\n
• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or finalist nearing qualification
\n
• Previous experience in FP&A, commercial finance, financial analysis, business partnering or management accounting
\n
• Strong analytical capability with the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders
\n
• Comfortable working with large datasets and turning detail into clear recommendations
\n
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI or similar tools is an advantage
\n
• Commercially minded with a proactive, curious approach
\n
