Salary: Dependant on experience

Location: Hemel Hempstead

Shift: Late Shift (4 on 4 off) - 6PM – 4AM, Monday to Thursday

My client is looking for a CNC Turner to work the late Shift (4 on 4 off), this role involves setting and operating CNC turning machines to produce high-precision components. You will ensure machining processes are optimised for accuracy, efficiency, and repeatability.

Duties:

• Set, operate, and manage CNC turning machines
\n
• Prepare tooling, fixtures, and materials for production
\n
• Monitor machining processes and make adjustments
\n
• Perform in-process quality checks
\n
• Interpret engineering drawings
\n
• Maintain safe working practices
\n
• Ensure correct information logged on to tooling sheets
\n
• Ensure component submitted for first off inspection meets drawing requirements
\n
• Where practical, pre-set ready for next job
\n
• Experience setting and operating CNC Grinders and manual machines
\n
• Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
\n
