Reed are seeking a proactive and organised business support administrator to join a well known establishment on a temporary basis for 4-6 weeks for cover. This is a varied and hands-on role that will provide essential office and administrative support, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the business while covering a period of absence.

The successful candidate will be adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will act as a key point of contact for office-related matters while supporting colleagues across a range of administrative and project activities.

Key Responsibilities

Office Management

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the office, ensuring a professional and well-organised working environment.
  • \n
  • Order and manage office supplies and consumables.
  • \n
  • Manage the office phone line and general inbox.
  • \n
  • Welcome visitors and clients, providing a professional front-of-house service.
  • \n
  • Arrange catering and refreshments for meetings, training sessions, and new starters.
  • \n
  • Act as the primary point of contact for office-related queries.
  • \n

Administration Support

  • Provide general administrative assistance across the business.
  • \n
  • Handle incoming and outgoing post and general correspondence
  • \n
  • Support client and stakeholder communications
  • \n
  • Assist project teams with formatting documents and presentations
  • \n
  • Purchase supplies and equipment as required.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate filing systems and ensure documentation is stored correctly and kept up to date.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in an administrative or office management position
  • \n
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • \n
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • \n
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • \n
  • Confident using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • \n
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative.
