Job Description
We are exclusively supporting a prestigious charity in London hire a Senior Finance Business Partner to join their commercial arm which delivers more than 75% of organisation’s revenue. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate financial reports and management accounts to support the organisational needs. The successful candidate will act as a proxy member of the executive team, providing commercial insight and participating in decision-making and planning functions.
\nDay-to-day of the role:

- Support business planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. \n
- Conduct business reporting and cost accounting. \n
- Continually review business operations and provide recommendations on alternative approaches. \n
- Perform financial modelling and analysis of all business initiatives. \n
- Improve reporting, analysis, and use of KPIs within the business. \n
- Provide commercial analytical financial support for commercial negotiations and business case creation on request. \n
- Engage with the executive team to provide the necessary financial insights for informed decision-making. \n
Required Skills & Qualifications:
\n- \n
- Hold a professional accounting qualification – ACMA, ACA, ACCA, etc. \n
- Demonstrated knowledge of financial management principles, policies, and procedures. \n
- Experience in commercial financial analysis including KPIs and ROI. \n
- Proven ability in working with a subsidiary and within a shared services function. \n
- Strong understanding of the broader business context with the ability to apply this practically. \n
- Ability to influence decisions and drive improvements through the business. \n
- Competent user of financial and technology systems, including MS Word/Excel and other relevant software packages. \n
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage significant workloads and changing priorities. \n
- Experience of engaging effectively at the Executive level and being a team player. \n
Desirable:
\n- \n
- Finance experience within a charity/not-for-profit organisation and commercial background. \n
- Experience working with mid-tier businesses, ideally with a turnover between £20-40 million. \n
- Experience in Joint Ventures (JV) / Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A). \n
