Credit Controller

We are working with an excellent, well-established client who is looking for a confident, finance professional to join their team as a Credit Controller.

This is an ideal opportunity for anyone who has some experience working in either finance, finance admin, debt collection or credit control looking to pursue a career in Credit Control.

Duties & responsibilities

\n
• Provide invoices and statements to customers
\n
• Monitor customer credit limits and spend and obtain credit reports when required
\n
• Process direct debits and take card payments
\n
• Chase remittances and collect overdue debt - ensuring customer spend is within the credit limits provided to reduce the risk of potential bad debt for the business.
\n
• Manage a portfolio of various accounts and liaising with both internal and external customers to resolve day to day queries
\n

Skills & Experience

\n
• Recent experience in any finance, accounting, basic finance/accounting admin, debt collection, accounts receivable and credit control
\n
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
\n
• Excellent communication skills and confident dealing with clients over the phone
\n
• Problem solving skills
\n
• Confident and motivated
