Financial Administrator | Tonbridge, Kent | £35,000 - £38,000 | Permanent
Job Description
Financial Administrator | Tonbridge, Kent | £35,000 – £38,000 | Permanent
\n\nAre you an experienced Financial Administrator who thrives in a small IFA environment? Do you take pride in your work, communicate proactively and naturally support the people around you? If so, we want to hear from you.
\n\nFinancial Divisions is recruiting on behalf of a well-established, family-run independent financial planning practice in Tonbridge. This is a permanent role offering a varied and fulfilling workload within a close-knit, supportive team.
\n\nThe Role
\nAs Financial Administrator, you will be the backbone of the practice — keeping everything running smoothly and ensuring clients and advisers are well supported at every stage. This is a hands-on, autonomous role for someone who takes ownership and gets things done without needing to be chased.
\n\nKey responsibilities include:
\n• Drafting Letters of Authority and valuation requests
\n• Creating meeting packs on behalf of the Financial Adviser
\n• Handling all client and provider queries via phone and email
\n• Basic suitability reports and ISA top-ups
\n• General financial administration and workflow management
\n\nAbout You
\nThe practice is looking for someone who genuinely cares about client outcomes and delivering a great client experience — this is the most important quality they are looking for.
\n\nBeyond that, the right person will:
\n• Take ownership of their work and follow things through without being chased
\n• Be adaptable and willing to help across different areas of the business
\n• Communicate proactively with colleagues, clients and providers
\n• Be comfortable and confident working in a small-business environment
\n• Be willing to learn and develop within their role — but with no aspirations to move into advising or paraplanning
\n• Naturally look to make the adviser's life easier, rather than just completing tasks in isolation
\n\nYou will ideally come from an IFA or independent financial planning background and be used to working at a pace with minimal supervision.
\n\nThe Package
\n• Salary: £35,000 – £38,000 dependent on experience
\n• Working pattern: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home
\n• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
\n• Discretionary bonus
\n• Private healthcare
\n• 5% employer pension contribution
\n• Private parking permit provided
\n\nHow to Apply
\nTo apply, please send your CV to Jo at Financial Divisions.
\n\nAll applications are treated in the strictest confidence.
