This is an excellent opportunity to move into a highly visible role where you'll work closely with operational leaders, influence decision-making and play a key role in financial planning and performance management.

This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified accountant or someone in the final stages of their ACCA, CIMA or ICAS qualification who is looking to develop a commercially focused career. The business is open to candidates coming from either industry or practice backgrounds, as long as you possess the softer skillset in order to build relationships with key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with departmental heads and budget holders across the business
  • \n
  • Leading budgeting and forecasting processes for designated areas
  • \n
  • Analysing contracts and commercial agreements to assess performance, value and risk
  • \n
  • Producing meaningful financial analysis to support operational and strategic decisions
  • \n
  • Monitoring budgets, forecasts and key performance indicators
  • \n
  • Identifying opportunities to improve performance and drive efficiencies
  • \n

You'll ideally possess:

  • Newly qualified - ACCA, CIMA or ICAS qualification (or be in the final stages)
  • \n
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • \n
  • The confidence to build relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • \n
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and "can-do" attitude
  • \n
