AOG Operator

Right Now Group are currently recruiting for an experienced AOG Operator to join an award-winning international freight forwarding business based in the Heathrow area.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with previous AOG or time-critical freight experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands the importance of delivering exceptional customer service around the clock. You will play a key role in ensuring urgent shipments are managed efficiently from collection through to final delivery, providing customers with regular updates and solutions when every minute counts.

Location: HeathrowHours: Monday - Friday 12:00pm - 9:00pmSalary: £37,000-£40,000 Location: West Drayton

Key Duties:

• Managing AOG and time-critical shipments from start to finish.
\n
• Coordinating urgent collections, airline bookings and final deliveries.
\n
• Liaising with airlines, transport providers, overseas agents and customers.
\n
• Monitoring shipments proactively and responding quickly to any operational issues.
\n
• Providing customers with regular shipment updates and ensuring service level agreements are achieved.
\n
• Completing all required export documentation and customs paperwork where applicable.
\n
• Working closely with internal departments to ensure the smooth movement of urgent freight.
\n
• Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems.
\n

Previous Experience:

\n
• Previous experience within Air Freight Operations, ideally AOG or Time Critical.
\n
• Excellent understanding of air export procedures and freight forwarding operations.
\n
• Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure.
\n
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
\n
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
\n
