Senior Management Accountant

Reed Finance is recruiting on behalf of our client for a fully qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) Senior Management Accountant to join their Finance team.

This role is essential for producing high-quality financial information to support decision-making across a global, multi-entity organisation. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with strong analytical skills and hands-on experience using Sage as a system.

Our client are working on a flexible, hybrid basis.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
\n
• Own the month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes.
\n
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records within Sage, ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded and reconciled.
\n
• Support annual audit, statutory reporting and tax compliance.
\n
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and cash flow, working closely with budget holders.
\n
• Maintain and strengthen financial controls and processes.
\n
• Use Sage for core accounting activities and assist with ad-hoc financial modelling and business analysis.
\n
• Implement and improve financial processes and controls, helping to establish scalable, best-practice finance operations.
\n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

\n
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
\n
• Proven experience in a management accounting role at a senior level.
\n
• Strong, hands-on experience using Sage.
\n
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data.
\n
• Confident communicator, able to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
\n
