Electro Mechanical Assembler / Tester

£15.00 - £16.50 per hour | Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week

Our client, a well-established engineering company in the HVAC sector, is looking for an experienced Electro/Mechanical Assembler / Tester to join their production team. This is a hands-on role assembling, wiring and testing high-quality equipment to meet production schedules.

Hours:

\n
• Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
\n
• Friday: 7:30am - 1:30pm
\n
• Enhanced overtime rates available when required.
\n

\n
• Assemble mechanical and electrical units to specification.
\n
• Read and interpret electrical schematics.
\n
• Build control panels and complete wiring to drawings.
\n
• Carry out dead and live electrical testing to ensure products are ready for dispatch.
\n
• Inspect your own work and report quality issues.
\n
• Use hand and air tools safely and effectively.
\n
• Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, quality and housekeeping.
\n
• Support other production areas when required.
\n

\n
• City & Guilds or NVQ Electrical qualification.
\n
• 17th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations (or equivalent).
\n
• Previous electro/mechanical assembly and electrical testing experience.
\n
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
\n
• Good attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
\n

• £15.00 - £16.50 per hour, depending on experience.
\n
• Enhanced overtime rates.
\n
• Early finish every Friday.
\n
• Stable, full-time role with a well-established engineering manufacturer.
