Semi Senior Accountant

An established independent accountancy practice in Barnsley is looking to recruit a Semi Senior Accountant to join its growing team. Working with a varied portfolio of owner managed businesses, you will be responsible for preparing accounts, supporting clients with their accounting requirements and building long term client relationships. The role will include:\n

• Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies
\n
• Accounts preparation for sole traders and partnerships
\n
• Supporting clients with bookkeeping and accounting queries
\n
• Assisting clients with Making Tax Digital requirements
\n
• Liaising directly with clients and responding to day to day queries
\n
• Working closely with senior staff and partners on client assignments
\n

The successful candidate will ideally have:\n

\n
• Previous experience within an accountancy practice
\n
• Experience preparing accounts for limited company clients
\n
• Good communication and client relationship skills
\n
• AAT qualified, ACCA studying or qualified by experience
\n
• The ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines
\n
