Senior Commercial Underwriter

We are recruiting for a Senior and experienced Commercial Property and Liability underwriter to look after the existing business and write new.

The role is a major Uk and global insurer, with an ever-building team, and strong proposition.

The role of a Senior Commercial Underwriter :-

\n
• Underwrite UK corporate, and Multinational business from a select broker distribution from their Birmingham operation
\n
• Underwriting Property and Liability covers, with perhaps more of a focus towards Property
\n
• Servicing the existing renewals, and working with the Business Development team to develop new business opportunities
\n
• Help with the coaching of more junior colleagues
\n

As a Senior Commercial Underwriter, You :-

\n
• Will have a minimum of 5 years experience underwriting UK Commercial and/or Corporate business, regularly handling client premiums well over £50k
\n
• Experience or knowledge of multinational placements
\n
• Proven delivery of new business wins, with a can-do attitude to finding ways of writing good, profitable business
\n
